The Reverend Father Paul Voisard Memorial Fund
Mission
During Liberia's darkest years, Fr. Paul Voisard stood beside the suffering when many others fled. His life reflected compassion, humility, and unwavering dedication to the poor and vulnerable. The Fr. Paul Voisard Memorial African Mission Fund continues that legacy as a mission of healing, education, peacebuilding, and hope for vulnerable communities across Liberia and Africa. The Fund enjoys the blessing of the Bishop of Gbarnga, Most Rev. Anthony R.F. Bowah, who, together with Fr. Boniface Tye, Rector of Gbarnga Major Seminary, traveled to the United States to launch it on March 1, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Pickerington, Ohio. The Fund currently provides scholarships to more than twenty students across Liberia. With your support, the Fund will continue to provide educational scholarships for disadvantaged youth, community assistance for impoverished rural families, humanitarian outreach to vulnerable populations, peace-building and violence-prevention initiatives, and leadership and moral development programs for young people.
