Purpose
To support cemetery maintenance at St John's Catholic Church in Claybanks Township in Oceana County.

Story
His love for his wife and church led James Farkas to leave a bequest to support the upkeep of the parish cemetery where they are both now buried. After his working career in Muskegon Heights as a police officer and chief, they retired to their 60 acre New Era farm to raise horses. While known as a strong-minded individual, he also had a heart of gold and was very charitable towards traditional mission work. Support from this fund has already helped to pay for a new well at the cemetery.
