The historic Hart Congregational United Church of Christ celebrated its last worship gathering in late 2023. The church recognized it 155-yearlong fellowship by establishing the Hart Congregational United Church of Christ Fund in honor of its generational impact on Hart. The Fund will provide annual grants in perpetuity to ten local nonprofits and their Conference - including Oceana County Medical Care & Cherry Blossom resident activities, COVE, The Ladder, Crystal Valley Care Fund, Mason-Oceana County Jail Ministry, Love INC, Toys 4 Tots Oceana drive and the Foundation’s Migrant Farmworkers and Child Task Force annual drive.
