Story
Elaine & Lee are no strangers to the Pentwater community. Elaine was a beloved 3rd grade teacher at Pentwater for 23 years. Lee was a science teacher in Ludington middle & high schools. Anyone that ever had the pleasure of visiting Lee’s nature center on their incredibly beautiful and ecologically diverse property, knows how much he treasured sharing & teaching all facets of the outdoors with others. Just over a year ago, Lee passed away and his joke telling and handlebar mustached grin are missed by many. Elaine is excited to establish two charitable funds to support education and other interests to celebrate their shared years of teaching.
