Story
Grand Rapids-based entrepreneurs John and Betsy McIntyre established the McIntyre Whitehead Family Fund as an important tribute to Betsy’s late sister, Susan Whitehead. She was a longtime resident of New Era and Willowbrook Adult Foster Care before passing away in 2014. A decade later, their establishment of an Oceana County-based donor-advised fund will allow for investments in Susan’s memory in their community. The couple and their daughter, Molly Chelovich, are well-known philanthropists in Kent County, partly through the generosity of their company, Anderson Global.
