Story
Dyanne Mullen believed in the power of education and advocacy. After her passing in 2010, Mrs. Mullen’s Closet Fund was established at the Oceana Community Foundation. Since 2011, over $65,500 has been donated to support kids' programs. The Fund began when Dyanne noticed students lacked winter clothing and quietly provided for them from her own funds. Today, multiple schools in Oceana and Benzie Counties have their own Mrs. Mullen’s Closet, offering clothes and supplies to students in need. The Fund continues to grow, supporting educational programs and ensuring Dyanne’s legacy of kindness lives on.
