Story
Before moving to the lakeshore in 1994, Carol and Raymond Oxford would visit Pentwater on weekends. Carol became a geriatrics nurse for several decades, later transitioning to cosmetology. Carol's transition from healthcare to hairstyling represents her love of learning and fellowship, which garnered her many friends in Pentwater. Carol treasured summers in Pentwater, enjoying music on the green and visiting friends and family. In her memory, Carol's family and friends established the For the Love of Pentwater Fund to support programs & projects in Pentwater.
