Story
When fourth grader Rob Barefoot's teacher introduced him to the magic of books, the experience instilled his passion for reading. In addition to serving as a school librarian, his teacher, Mrs. Judy Kronlein, taught in Hart Public Schools for several decades. Rob established the Mrs. Kronlein Reading Fund in 2021 through the build a fund program and reached full funding in 2024, partially through matched gifts from his employer, Microsoft. Rob is also a frequent volunteer for Read early. Read often., often found giving away books, literacy materials & advocating at the New Era Farmer’s Market and the Oceana County Fair.
