Story
The Ladder Community Center became part of the heart of downtown Shelby when it opened in 2016. Dave and Kim Beckman transformed an auto repair shop into a Christ-based community center, serving youth and seniors. The Ladder uplifts families, children, and older adults through its combination of community and faith. The Ladder continues to grow each year, inspiring the creation of the Ladder Community Center Fund to provide annual operational grants towards sustainability and growth.
