Story
Since 1970, the Pentwater Service Club (PSC) has grown into a key part of the village's philanthropic community. Open to both seasonal and year-round residents, PSC focuses on improving life in Pentwater through service and fundraising. Projects include organizing the Citizen of the Year award, running a food wagon, providing student scholarships and student of the month awards, and sponsoring the start of summer party and homecoming sand sculpture contest. Other services include participating in highway cleanup activities and offering donations to the Pentwater to Hart bicycle trail project, community food pantry, Hart Performing Arts, festival fireworks, and Salvation Army. PSC’s community impact is further seen in past projects like the Pentwater Community Gardens, offering residents space to grow fresh produce and reduce food costs, and contributions of benches at the Pentwater Township Cemetery.
