Established in 1931, Shelby State Bank (SSB) has become a cornerstone of Oceana County's business community, growing to ten branches across West Michigan. Beyond banking services, SSB actively supports community development, sponsoring mobile food pantries, local events, and health clinics. They played a crucial role in processing PPP loans during the past 18 months. This year, SSB established the Shelby State Bank Fund at the Community Foundation, enabling them to award grants to local nonprofits and initiatives. The Foundation keeps donor-advisors informed about funding opportunities, simplifying their giving process and enhancing community impact.
