Story
The Pentwater Artisan Learning Center is a collaborative space where artisans of all skill levels come together to share skills and resources. Founded in 2002 by Gene Davidson and other local artists, it offers areas for woodworking, pottery, painting, and more. In 2023 as led by Jeff Elhart (Barb & Gene Davidson's son), the Pentwater Artisan Learning Center launched the "Equipping the Pentwater Artisan Learning Center for the Next 20 Years" campaign to support its continued growth over the next two decades. The campaign goal was successfully met in early 2026 and this Fund is an investment in future artisans, as it will support replacement of outdated, nonworking, unsafe or unrepairable tools and equipment, plus any maintenance needs at the Center.
