Story
Inspired by Muskegon County and Hart High School, Shelby High School is launching its own Ride with Pride to encourage teens to make positive behaviors in and out of school. The Shelby High School Ride with Pride Fund will support rewards for students adhering to the program's positive habits, including an end-of-year lottery of a car for eligible participants. The creation of the fund will allow for the program's longevity, creating a lasting incentive for students' participation. At the same time, the teens will establish healthy practices like avoiding drugs, alcohol, and behavioral programs.
