Your scholarship has been made possible by the generosity of Robert & Theresa Steen, who established the Patrick Steen Helping Hand Fund of the Community Foundation for Oceana County. The Patrick Steen Helping Hand Fund provides scholarships to young adults to help them achieve their dreams. The Fund was created by Robert and Theresa Steen to honor their son. Patrick was a curious person, talented and energetically learning more about his variety of interests. He had a passion for music and computers. Patrick graduated from Ferris State University with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Networking. Throughout his life, Patrick positively influenced those around him through his personality. The Helping Hand Fund exists to remind young dreamers to keep reaching for their goals; it is a symbol of hope for the future.
