Scholarships to graduating seniors of Walkerville High School
Story
John Bush was hired onto the Walkerville Schools staff in 1987, teaching Special Education with a unique flair that brought out the best in his students. Known as a caring and compassionate man, he spent a decade dedicating himself to Walkerville immediately after serving in the U.S. Army. To honor an educator dedicated to showing his students the beauty in life, John’s family and friends established this scholarship to continue a teacher’s legacy of dedication to tomorrow’s leaders. In remembering John’s kindness and skill as an educator, this scholarship hopes to help establish the next generation of passionate leaders in West Michigan.
