7Cares Fund
Purpose:
The 7Cares Idaho Shares Community Safety Net Campaign benefits 9 Idaho charities serving hungry families and people experiencing homelessness. The vision is to “rebuild the pioneer spirit of neighbor-helping-neighbor.”
The strategy is to aid local charities serving the people who need the most help in our communities. We want these charities to have fully stocked shelves and full purses for winter because the need for food, shelter, and aid grows as the temperature drops.
All food and cash donations will be distributed to the following local charities:
The Idaho Food Bank (hunger relief)
River of Life Homeless Shelter (homeless shelter for men)
City Light Home for Women and Children (shelter home)
Rescue Mission Recovery Lodge (homeless shelter)
Valley Women and Children’s Shelter of Nampa (women and children)
The Salvation Army of Ada County (families and children)
The Salvation Army of Caldwell (families and children)
The Salvation Army of Nampa (families and children)
The Salvation Army of Twin Falls (families and children)
The 7Cares Fund is managed by the Idaho Community Foundation (www.idahocf.org).
