7Cares Fund

7Cares Idaho Shares is a community safety net campaign started by KTVB in 2008. Its mission is to aid local charities serving people in our communities who need help the most. The goal is to fully stock the shelves and fill the coffers of our local nonprofits for winter. As the temperature drops, the need for food, shelter and aid grows. This year, the need is particularly great.

Since 2008, through donations from individuals and Idaho companies, 7Cares Idaho Shares has provided over 15 million meals to Idahoans. This year, 7Cares Idaho Shares will be held December 1st-13th, starting with an on-air and digital campaign encouraging online donations and culminating in 7Cares Day on from 8a-11a on Saturday, December 13th at donation sites across southwest Idaho.

The community can donate to 7Cares Idaho Shares via the following methods:
• Online: Go to KTVB.COM/7Cares or scan the QR code displayed during TV coverage.
• Mobile: text ‘7Cares’ to (208) 321-5614 to a direct link to the donation site
• In-person: Visit any of the donation locations throughout the Treasure and Magic Valleys (complete list at KTVB.COM/7Cares)
• Check: payable to 7Cares Fund, Idaho Community Foundation, 210 W. State St., Boise, ID 83702

• City Light Home for Women & Children (shelter home)
• Rescue Mission Recovery Lodge
• Valley Women and Children’s Shelter of Nampa (women and children)

YOUR ROLE: Any size donation is appreciated. If you want to be publicly recognized on television and KTVB’s digital platforms as a “Company that Cares” please consider making a cash or food donation of $10,000 or more. If you become a “Company that Cares” then you will be honored on KTVB as an example of corporate caring and neighbor-helping-neighbor.
