Summary
Samuel Decorian Thompson-Hunsberger, died of fentanyl poisoning on February 8, 2021. Cory was a free spirited, intelligent, and precocious young man who was only 24 years old. He had his whole life ahead of him and was just starting to figure things out. It is believed Cory died from only half of a pill called “Roxy”. The Spirit of Decorian fund is being established to raise awareness through the Hunsberger’s story and the story of others about this grave threat to our society. They pledge to help educate youth in our community and beyond about the risks of the drug culture that has become too accepted in our society. They would also like to help those with addiction and depression created by substance abuse and other societal factors.
