Riddle Excellence Scholarship Fund

Fund Purpose

The Riddle Excellence Scholarship Fund was established in May 2025 in memory of Gordon L Riddle, by his wife, Karynn G. Riddle, daughters and sons-in-law, Arin and Jason Sloan, and Allison and Matthew Clemens.

Up to two non-renewable scholarships may be awarded based on merit to graduating seniors of Richmond High School, planning to attend a public or private, two-year or four-year accredited college, university or an accredited career/technical/trade school and has a 3.2 GPA or better. The scholarship criteria will include students who demonstrate character traits of creativity, ingenuity, and/or fortitude. Preference will be given to students who participated in at least one of the following: band, orchestra, choir, school sports or held a part-time job as a student.
