The purpose of the Fund shall be to provide support for organizations, programs, causes, initiatives and capital projects in and around Milton, Indiana and Cambridge City, Indiana that will improve the quality of life of Milton and Cambridge City area residents. It is the Donor’s intent that grants from the fund be made to government entities or non-profit entities described in Code Section 501(c)(3). Examples of the types of grants the Fund should make include, but are not limited to: (a) Historic preservation; (b) Capital improvements to parks and other civic places; (c) Support for pre-kindergarten education; and (d) Support for organizations that improve education and civic involvement for young people, such as a Boys & Girls Club, Scouts, or Future Farmers of America. Preference should be given to projects or programs supported or endorsed by the Town Councils of Milton and/or Cambridge City and/or the Superintendent of Schools for the schools that serve the residents of Milton and/or Cambridge City.
