Jack Reed Memorial Scholarship Fund

Richmond High School graduating senior who demonstrates academic achievement, service to the the Boys & Girls Clubs and financial need.The Jack Reed Memorial Scholarship is available to high school seniors wishing to further their education beyond high school. Traditionally, $2,000 is awarded at the discretion of the scholarship committee. Applicants must be a current or past member of the BGCWC and must be going on to continue their education at a post-secondary institute including a college, university or trade school. Jack Reed was a Board Member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Wayne County and advocate for youth development. After relocating to northern Indiana, Reed was instrumental in helping to open a new Boys & Girls Club in the Fort Wayne area. His dedication to youth and service to his community was remembered by his family when they created the Jack Reed Memorial Scholarship in his honor.
