The W. Barry Culy Memorial Scholarship supports graduating seniors of Hagerstown High School entering a post-secondary two or four year college or trade school who is a positive representative of their community and school, possessing a strong desire to achieve and to make a positive difference in the future.

The W. Barry Culy 4-H Memorial Scholarship awarded to a student from a Wayne County High School enrolling in an accredited post-secondary institution who has participated in 4-H for at least four years preference will be given to those in beef livestock then livestock in general; is a positive representative of his/her community and school; demonstrates service to their community and leadership in extra-curricular activities.
