Ruth Jones Hairston Fund
Purpose
Ruth Jones-Hairston dedicated her life to education and helping students in our community. She spent years serving students in the Grand Rapids Public Schools and served as the principal of Henry Paideia Academy. Ruth often quoted Matthew 25:40 “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." This message resonated with Ruth and permeated her life’s work. We are very honored to accept donations in her memory that will create a fund to support initiatives that will help students and families in our community.
