Anna's Hope was founded in her memory and is a fund of the Community Foundation of Henderson County. The purpose is to educate and raise awareness about the dangers of the nonmedical use of prescription drugs as well as addressing issues that cause addiction. We believe that communities can work together to prevent the tragic results caused by addictive medications. We also believe there is no stigma or shame attached to addiction and we must start the conversation of understanding to help those who are struggling with substance abuse. Families should not suffer in silence and should be supported.
