Baker-Barber Photographic Collection Endowment Fund
Purpose
The purpose of the Fund is to provide for the Henderson County Public Library a pictorial history of Henderson County beginning in 1884. This collection shall be known as the Baker-Barber Collection. Through the photographs and negatives the Henderson County Public Library may provide cultural, educational, historic and civic enrichment for the community of Henderson County. The areas of enrichment may include, but shall not be limited to, the following: 1) Public display of the photographs by the Public Library in its facilities or any other public facility that has proper security to insure the safety of the collection. 2) Presentations at public community lectures, civic organizations and as an educational tool within the schools or other public institutions. 3) Reproduction and publication in instances where, in the opinion of the Foundation, the objectives are educational and/or cultural.
