Lucee Wallace Scholarship for Nursing
Purpose
The purpose of the Fund is to provide financial assistance to individuals who wish to enhance their career in Nursing by attaining a more advanced degree. Emphasis should be placed on, but not limited to, selecting recipients currently employed in the nursing field. It is the intent of the donor that any recipient(s) of the scholarship be selected in accordance with Community Foundation of Henderson County criteria, the additional guidelines outlined in the selection of recipients, and any additional considerations determined by the Foundation that would result in the highest probability of the recipients successfully attaining a degree in Nursing. To that objective, the criterion listed in the selection of recipients section are to be interpreted as proactive, not restrictive. See "Attachment A" for details of Grantor's intensions.
