Randall F. Brittain (1899-1975) and Velma Gillespie Brittain (1903-1971) Scholarship
Purpose
It is the donor's intent that this be a $1,000 or greater, renewable scholarship up to four years, awarded to a legal resident of Henderson County who is a graduating senior or graduate of a Henderson County high school and is accepted for admission to an accredited college or university. Preference should be given to students seeking a degree in one of the following disciplines: Forestry, Wildlife Management, Agriculture, History of Science or History Education. Recipients must maintain a B average in order for the scholarship to be renewed.
