Eleanor A. Ernest Scholarship Endowment Fund
Purpose
The Eleanor A. Ernest Scholarship is awarded each year to a valedictorian, salutatorian or student with the highest grade point average of a smaller Jackson County high school (148 students or less in graduating senior class). The award recognizes exceptional high school achievement in academics, citizenship and extracurricular activity by providing a one year, $1,000 scholarship to a high school senior who is enrolled or who plans to enroll in an approved post secondary institution*.
