As a single mom, Janet realized the importance of education and was lucky enough to work for a company that provided educational expenses as a benefit.  Janet used the proceeds from the sale of her fabric art to fully fund this scholarship.  The fund is dedicated to single moms who need help to ensure their future and the future of their children. The primary purpose of the fund is to provide post-secondary scholarships to Jackson County high school graduates or equivalent who are female, single parents.
