Mount Horeb Area Historical Society Future Fund
Purpose
Since 1975, the Mount Horeb Area Historical Society has collected, preserved and shared the stories of southwestern Dane County. In support of this mission, the Society opened its downtown museum and research center, the Driftless Historium, in 2017. Tourists and locals take advantage of our award-winning exhibits and local art gallery; while historians and researchers utilize MHAHS's expansive archival and artifact holdings. From the geologic and natural wonders of the Driftless landscape, to the histories of the people who lived, loved and died in the Mount Horeb area--MHAHS and the Driftless Historium offer a uniquely American experience for all.
