LACE was founded in 2009 by a group of seven local citizens to: Preserve and enhance our community’s proud legacy of cultural, educational and environmental gifts; and Create the financial and legal framework to facilitate local philanthropy and strengthen our community. LACE’s mission is to provide charitable resources that will enrich the greater Lodi community for present and future generations. Resources from LACE will be available for educational and civic projects within the geographical boundaries of the School District of Lodi. Residents, alumni and anyone with an interest in the greater Lodi area is encouraged to make contributions to the endowment fund. All contributions are held in perpetuity to provide an ongoing resource. All gifts are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Initial grants will be distributed when the endowment reaches a sufficient level to generate meaningful awards.
