Purpose
The Tunica Woman’s Club Betty Jo Dulaney Memorial Scholarship Endowment supports the charitable purposes of leadership and education. Re-established in 2024, the Tunica Woman’s Club (est. 1914) created this memorial fund to honor long-time president and devoted member Betty Jo Dulaney. The endowment ensures continued support for young women in Tunica County through scholarships and leadership programs such as Girls State and HOBY—initiatives the Club has championed since the 1980s. Mrs. Dulaney embodied the spirit of service, having led locally, statewide, and nationally within the General Federation of Women’s Clubs. Her theme, “Unity in diversity through volunteer service,” continues to inspire members today. Through this fund at the Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi, her legacy of learning, leadership, and love for community lives on for generations.
