Wayne V. Shooks Scholarship Fund

Fund Purpose

To provide scholarships for DeWitt High School graduates. Established in honor of Wayne Shooks, longtime teacher and coach at DeWitt High School, by his children.

Recipients are chosen by the DeWitt High School Scholarship Advisory Committee.

Eligibility Criteria:

• DeWitt High School graduating senior (must have attended DHS 3 years)

• Minimum GPA 3.5

• Accepted to a 2-year or 4-year college/university

• Minimum of 5 science credits

• ACT score of 24 and above or SAT of 1160 and above

• Must be pursuing a degree in Life Sciences

• Lettered in two varsity sports
