Marquette County Basic Needs Endowment Fund

The purpose of the Fund is to provide long-term support for programs addressing food insecurity, shelter and housing stability, and clothing and hygiene in Marquette County. • Food insecurity – Programs that provide access to nutritious food, food pantries, meal programs, and emergency food assistance. • Shelter and housing stability – Services that support emergency shelter, rental assistance, transitional housing, homelessness prevention, and long-term housing stability. • Clothing and hygiene – Programs that distribute clothing, personal care products, hygiene items, and other essential material goods. Grant funding priority will be given to programs that address immediate, unmet basic needs, demonstrate a clear impact on vulnerable populations, show measurable outcomes and effectiveness, and leverage partnerships or collaboration to maximize community impact.

Discretionary Grants Fund

The Discretionary Grants Fund was established May 11, 2023 as an unrestricted fund. Gift to this fund will benefit the Marquette County community where and when the need is greatest.

Zacchaeus Fund

Established to support recovery and homelessness services, this donor-funded initiative provides resources to local nonprofits working on the front lines. By addressing the cycle of addiction and housing instability, it reflects our community’s commitment to caring for vulnerable neighbors and helping individuals move toward recovery and stable housing.
