Purpose
Consistent with the charitable purposes of the Foundation, distributions from this Fund will be used primarily to provide scholarships for graduating seniors of Ishpeming, Negaunee and Westwood. The Fund aims to award 3 equal amount scholarships annually to eligible applicants from Ishpeming, Negaunee and Westwood high schools. Each school's scholarship committee will select up to one recipient based on the following eligibility criteria: Student must be a graduating senior pursuing higher education in the field of business administration Financial need as determined by the scholarship committee GPA of 3.0 or higher If there are no qualified applicants within a school(s), the scholarship will only be awarded to eligible applicants. In 2017 the scholarship will be awarded to up to 3 eligible applicants in the amount of $1,000.
