Purpose
The scholarship will be awarded annually up to to two eligible applicants, one male and one female in the amount of $500.00 each, provided the total amount of scholarships awarded does not exceed the Fund's distributable amount. As assets grow, the Foundation may elect to increase the grant amount or award additional scholarships. To be eligible, applicants must meet these criteria: Be a graduating student of Republic - Michigamme Schools Exhibit strong work ethic and the ability and willingness to work as part of a team No GPA requirement Should Republic-Michigamme Schools cease to exist, scholarships will be awarded to NICE Community Schools graduating senior student athletes, with preference given to students residing in Republic.
