Purpose
Distributions from this Fund will be used primarily to provide scholarships in accordance with the program guidelines. The scholarship will be awarded annually to one eligible applicant in the amount of $500 so long as the total amount of scholarships annually does not exceed the Fund's distributable amount. As assets grow, the Community Foundation may elect to increase the scholarship amount or award additional scholarships. To be eligible, applicants must meet these criteria: - Graduating senior of Marquette Area Public Schools - Pursuing secondary education in the trades including but not limited to construction, welding, automotive, hvac etc. - Exhibiting high standards of work ethic and interest in the trades - No GPA requirement
