Canale Family Fund

The Canale Family Fund was established July 12, 2024 as a donor advised fund to make a lasting difference in our community. The purpose of community Building through support of local based non-profit and government organizations with the City of Marquette executing strategic projects to enhance public spaces and to enable basic human needs.

Community Response Fund

The Community Response Fund supports Marquette County in times of crisis. Created to strengthen our community’s preparedness and resilience, the fund provides rapid, flexible financial resources for emergency and disaster relief—including natural disasters, public health crises, and other urgent needs. As a long‑term quasi‑endowment, the fund ensures both immediate response capacity and sustained support for future emergencies. Grants are directed to qualified nonprofit organizations working on the front lines to keep our community safe, stable, and supported when it matters most.

Marquette County Basic Needs Endowment Fund

The purpose of the Fund is to provide long-term support for programs addressing food insecurity, shelter and housing stability, and clothing and hygiene in Marquette County. • Food insecurity – Programs that provide access to nutritious food, food pantries, meal programs, and emergency food assistance. • Shelter and housing stability – Services that support emergency shelter, rental assistance, transitional housing, homelessness prevention, and long-term housing stability. • Clothing and hygiene – Programs that distribute clothing, personal care products, hygiene items, and other essential material goods. Grant funding priority will be given to programs that address immediate, unmet basic needs, demonstrate a clear impact on vulnerable populations, show measurable outcomes and effectiveness, and leverage partnerships or collaboration to maximize community impact.

Rod and Holly Aldrich Donor Advised Fund

The Fund is endowed, meaning that the Founding Donor intends that it exist into perpetuity. The amount of the Fund that will be appropriated for expenditure or accumulated is subject to the Community Foundation's Spending Policy, which is subject to change by the Community Foundation from time to time, and to the Community Foundation's variance power. Subject to the other terms and conditions of the Agreement and applicable law, distributions from the Fund may be made only for charitable purposes within Sections 170(c) of the Code, as determined in the sole discretion of the Community Foundation. Priority may be given to distributions for purposes of education, arts and culture, youth, community building, recovery and basic needs.

Distributions from this Fund will be used only to provide support for Trillium House. Should the agency cease to exist the balance of the Fund is to support the Foundation's Operating Endowment Fund.
