The Exchange Club of Marshall Fund was established by the Exchange Club of Marshall to address the needs of the Marshall Area in the field of Human Services, particularly the needs of children in Marshall and the surrounding area.

Fountain Clinic Fund

The Fountain Clinic Fund was established to support the Fountain Clinic’s mission to help those who have no health insurance and cannot afford needed medical care. Resources provide physician services, diagnostic testing, and medications for patients served.

Philip Glotfelty III, M.D. Fund

The Philip Glotfelty III, M.D. Fund was established in October 2023 by Marlene Glotfelty in loving memory of her husband Philip. Dr. Glotfelty was an active and loved member of the Marshall community who had a strong faith in both God and science and lived by the oath, “First, do no harm.” Through this fund, Philip Glotfelty will continue to care for his community by supporting health- and wellness-related programs and activities for Marshall area youth, including but not limited to, extra-curricular activities, field days, school curriculum, and mental health initiatives.

Healthy Youth & Healthy Seniors Fund

The Healthy Youth and Healthy Seniors Fund was established by a grant from the State of Michigan. The funds are used to support community efforts by Schools, Public Health and other Non-Profit organizations in the prevention of tobacco use. Healthy life style programs for youth and seniors are also supported.

Jam for the Cure Fund

The Jam for the Cure Fund was established by Theresa Chaney-Huggett to support non-profit organizations which in turn provide direct support to Calhoun County residents diagnosed with cancer. Resources available for distribution can be used by these organizations to help patients with medical expenses needed for cancer treatment and recovery, including such things as travel for treatment, prescriptions and medical equipment purchases, for example. Jam for the Cure was the idea of Theresa’s late husband, Ken Huggett. Ken was a life-long Marshall resident and musician who was diagnosed with cancer in 2008 and passed away in May 2010. Ken’s premise for the Jam was that he wanted to create a music fundraiser that the whole family could enjoy, where everyone was welcome. His legacy will continue through this fund.

The Dona L. Johnston, RN, Endowed Memorial Fund

The Dona L. Johnston, RN Memorial Fund was established by Janet Ostrum in memory of her mother. This fund will honor Dona by supporting the Bronson Battle Creek Hospital Diabetes and Endocrinology Center for diabetes care and education.

The Lifting Others Fund was established by Matt Davis and Jennifer Merritt for the purpose of assisting organizations that support individuals and families undergoing significant financial difficulties, including but not limited to medical emergencies and other unexpected hardships.

Elizabeth McAfee Memorial Fund

The Elizabeth McAfee Memorial Fund was established by the family of Elizabeth McAfee, a beloved and respected member of Marshall and an active volunteer in the community. The fund supports the needs of the Fountain Clinic and the Food Bank of South-Central Michigan.

Meyer Children's Fund

The Meyer Children’s Fund was established by Heather and Ryan Meyer to provide support to non-profits that financially assist the families of Marshall area children (up to age 21, or children of former Marshall Public School graduates, diagnosed with a serious illness during their challenging journey. The Meyer’s believe the Marshall community is filled with individuals who truly care and want to help.
