George B. Sherman Scholarship
Purpose
The George Sherman Scholarship was established by the Marshall High School Class of 1952 in honor of George Sherman, a former Marshall High School graduate and dedicated teacher. His favorite saying was “Dream and work to carve out your life, a life you want”. In honoring George, his friends and family will be able to assist Marshall students to do just that. The scholarships are awarded to Marshall area graduating seniors, or Marshall residents 20 years of age or younger who have earned their GED and entering their first year of continuing education. Applicants can be pursuing a two- or four- year degree or apprenticeship programs in skilled trades.
