Harvey Randall and Dr. Gwyn Randall Hartman Memorial Scholarship
Purpose
The Harvey Randall Scholarship was established by Harvey Randall with a bequest to the Marshall Community Foundation. Mr. Randall was a long-time resident of Tekonsha and a 1934 graduate of Tekonsha High School. Along with his brother, he founded Randall Beans, from which the Tekonsha annual “Bean Day” has become synonymous. In 2021, the scholarship was renamed to include Harvey’s daughter, Dr. Gwyn Randall Hartman. This Scholarship is awarded to a Tekonsha High School graduating senior pursuing a post-secondary education. Applicants should demonstrate community and school involvement. By establishing this scholarship, Mr. Randall wished to help graduates of Tekonsha High School to obtain their goals in higher education.
