Marshall Community Foundation Scholarship
Purpose
The Marshall Community Foundation Scholarship was established by Betty McAfee, who wished to contribute to the Marshall area. To have the biggest impact on the community, a “general scholarship” was established to have the flexibility to change with the ever-changing needs in the community. Currently the scholarship is awarded to non-traditional students, defined as adults who are returning or have returned to school after a lapse of (1) or more years. Eligible applicants must reside in the Marshall area; prove financial need; and demonstrate leadership skills, strong work ethic and a proven desire to be active members of their communities.
