Donald & Ruth Chadderdon Music Scholarship
Purpose
The Don and Ruth Chadderdon Music Scholarship was established in honor of Don Chadderdon by many of his former music students. Don was the music teacher and band director for Marshall High School between 1940 and 1960, resulting in a good number of students pursuing music careers after high school and/or college. The scholarship is awarded to Marshall Middle and High School instrumental music students, during school or after graduation, seeking a career in teaching or performance, for music camps, seminars or summer programs in instrumental music, such as but not limited to the Interlochen Music Camp.
