Purpose
Established in memory of Peyton Render. Peyton Robert Render was born in Sturgis on September 26, 2014, a son of Cody and Michelle (Sobata) Render. A third grader at Eastwood Elementary School, Peyton did well in school and loved playing sports including basketball, flag football, and especially baseball for the Junior Trojan team. When he wasn’t in school or playing sports, Peyton enjoyed time with his family, picking on his two younger sisters, and indulging a growing love for the outdoors and fishing. He adored playing with his cousins and his neighborhood friends. Peyton always had a smile on his face and was a joy and blessing to all who knew him. The Playing for Peyton Fund supports charitable projects in the Sturgis area today, tomorrow, and forever. The fund will allow the Render family and community to support causes that were special to Peyton, while celebrating his life and making a positive difference in his precious memory.
