Purpose
The Julia Renee Zimmerman Scholarship was established this year in memory of 2018 Sturgis High School graduate, Julia Zimmerman. Throughout her 20 years, Julia carried a smile on her face every day, which she shared with everyone around her to make their lives a little brighter. She always wanted everyone to be happy. She loved to laugh and joke, spend time with friends and family, and travel. Malice was not a part of her character—she loved everyone and everything! Julia marveled at this beautiful world. The oceans, lakes, rivers, beaches, and mountains. Her dreams included seeing every corner of the world and interacting with everyone she could meet. The family established the fund to carry on her legacy of love The scholarship is available to graduating Sturgis High School seniors with a track record of community service.
