Purpose
Glenn Rifenberg was born in Cass County, MI. graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1929, and then took courses at Kalamazoo College and Western Michigan University. He founded Glenn Rifenberg & Associates, Inc. Insurance Agency in 1930 and continued taking college classes and attending business seminars each year throughout his entire career. Glenn married Velma “Peggy” Wright in 1933. Velma was a school teacher until 1939, when she joined the insurance agency on a full time basis. This scholarship is a result of Glenn’s lifelong commitment to business and education. This scholarship support students continuing their education in the fields of business or education.
