The Richard A. Lidinsky, Sr. Excellence in Public Service Fund annually recognizes and honors employees for excellence in public service in the City of Baltimore. Richard A. Lidinsky Sr., was a City Hall stalwart who served as deputy comptroller under eight Baltimore mayors beginning in 1947 and retiring in 1991; he died in 2003 and this fund continues to honor his memory of service and his commitment to excellence.
