This fund honors the memory of Leslie Goldstein, who passed away on May 9, 2013. Leslie was a Juilliard-trained musician who taught hundreds of students from a private piano studio in Howard County, Maryland, for 30 years. Leslie was an active member of the Maryland State Music Teachers' Association and served as adjudicator for piano competitions hosted by the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore. Her students excelled in music, winning statewide competitions and pursuing further music education in the best colleges and conservatories. She was an outstanding music teacher who instilled a love of music in her students. The Leslie Goldstein Piano Scholarship Fund will continue Leslie's love of music instruction forever by helping pay for piano lessons for Baltimore City elementary and middle school students.
