Fund Description
BCF supports informed citizen action, which we believe is at the core of neighborhood revitalization. Revitalization has the potential to create neighborhoods with healthy housing markets, where people want to live, and where people of modest means can stay in their homes and benefit from revitalization. Widespread revitalization requires investments from the public, private and philanthropic sectors. While large scale investment from the public sector is required to bring about improvements in communities that have experienced deep disinvestment over the years, partnerships between the public, private and philanthropic sectors can stimulate markets and homeowner investment, helping people of all income groups build wealth through housing equity.
