Purpose
The Gary Kettlewell Scholarship was established in memory of Gary by his mother. Gary was a 1967 graduate of Peck High School. He joined the Marines while in school and after graduation served in Vietnam. When he returned home from the service he went to college and graduated from Michigan State. After his father's death, he returned home to help his Mom run the farm until he was struck by lightning and killed at just 35 years old. This scholarship is awarded to Peck High School graduating seniors who are pursuing agriculture.
