Purpose
The Sheila Olbrich Fine Arts Scholarship was established by Lena Olbrich, in memory of her daughter, Sheila—a 1980 Sandusky High School graduate and passionate advocate for the arts. After studying drama at the University of Michigan and traveling, she returned to Sandusky to grow the middle school drama program and serve as Director of the high school Drama Club. Sheila believed in giving all students, especially those not in sports, a creative outlet. This scholarship supports SHS students who share that passion and have participated in fine arts during high school, with the goal of continuing their education in a related field.
